Your Hosts:

Marie Mareno is a Human Resources Generalist at Compass Workforce Solutions, and holds the SHRM-CP certification. She is passionate about supporting clients and management in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management. Marie develops and conducts employee and management training sessions, including Unlawful Harassment & Bullying, Communication Styles, and Time Management, Performance Management, Goal Setting, and Recruitment and Selection. She has developed and customized performance evaluation programs to align with the needs of the client and the Compass Workforce Solutions team and works collaboratively with members of leadership teams on delivering feedback, evaluating employees, and setting development goals.

Carrie Patrizio is an HR Business Partner at Compass Workforce Solutions, and is an active member of SHRM Long Island and holds the SHRM-CP certification. Her passion for HR was sparked during her transition from a background in education to the private sector, and pursuing her MA in Human Resources Administration only solidified her commitment to this field. She looks forward to continuing her journey in Human Resources exploring new opportunities, and making a positive impact on the companies that she  teams up with as well as the employees that work for them.
